The Association was founded on March 25, 1956 in the initial name of Taiwan Regional Association of Filament Fabrics Refining, Bleaching and Dyeing Industries” which was rechristened the current name, i.e., “Taiwan Regional Association Of Filament Fabrics Printing Dyeing & Finishing Industries” in 1970. The Association has coordinated member firms to further the common interests, improvement and promotion of bleaching and dyeing of natural filaments, synthetic fibers and such yarn. The Association was founded with 7 initial members and has increased of 90members till 2006with joining of new printing, finishing and dyeing mills.

The Taiwan Regional Association Of Filament Fabrics Printing Dyeing & Finishing Industries has been led by Mr. Ho Tsung-yao, Ho Shih-yi, Hsu Chin-chi, Yeh Han-chang, F.S.Hsieh, Hsu Wen-Chang(incumbent), and supervised by the executive council and the board of supervisory. The incumbent Chairman (the nineteen incumbent), Mr. Hsu Wen-Chang, is the president manager of Fulltide Enterprise Co., Ltd. The executive council and the board of supervisory are composed of 20 members, 2 full-time staffs are in charge of serving all the members according to the prupose and commitment of the Association.

Besides the regular duties, the Association also collects the market information, including productions and sales statistics, and the fashion trends. Otherwise, the Association holds variety of lectures and seminars to help members upqradig the technology and production the quality of products by automation. Furthermore, it for assists members in participating in local and international trade shows for creating more business opportunities. In addition, the Association serves as a channel for conveying information about laws and regulations to members, and providing members’ feedbacks to the government at the appropriate time. All these activiites aim at providing mutual benefits and the ongoing development of the economy.
